Harm Reduction

Harm reduction is an approach focused on minimizing the negative effects of risky behaviors, rather than trying to eliminate the behaviors altogether. It emphasizes practical strategies and support to improve safety and well-being. In the context of substance use, harm reduction includes providing resources like clean needles, safe spaces, and education about safer consumption practices. The goal is to reduce health risks, improve quality of life, and support individuals in making healthier choices, no matter where they are in their journey.
